Experience.
Started working at 16. Left college after a year. Every job since taught me something I needed for the next one.
Founder & CEO
Built Lodgex from a single Airbnb listing into a full-service property management company managing five properties totaling over $2.5M for out-of-state owners. Lead all operations: owner relations, dynamic pricing strategy, marketing, listing optimization, business development. My fiancée and I run the business together — she leads guest communications, I manage owner relationships, financials, and growth. Achieved Airbnb SuperHost status in our first eligible quarter.
Manager, Supply Chain Operations
Manage a 260,000 sq ft hazmat chemical distribution facility with 45–50 employees and 9 customer accounts. Inherited a site in crisis — no management team, 180%+ turnover, customer dissatisfaction, neglected operations. Built a leadership team from scratch, transformed the safety culture, rebuilt customer relationships, drove systematic process improvements. Involved in contract negotiations that increased site revenue. Self-taught coding to automate reporting workflows.
Picker → Operations Manager
Started as an outbound picker and earned five promotions in seven years to Operations Manager, running the entire 100,000 sq ft facility with roughly 30 employees. Progressed through Coordinator, Lead, Outbound Supervisor, Inbound Supervisor, and QIC Supervisor before being promoted to Operations Manager. Served as a WMS superuser, traveling to other Cardinal sites to assist with implementations. Applied Lean Six Sigma methodology continuously. Facility closed in April 2023 during a strategic consolidation.
Yard Operations · Shipping & Receiving
Returned to Menards after stepping away from the family business. Operated forklifts and managed inventory flow in the shipping and receiving yard. Used this period to plan my next move, which led to the opportunity at Cardinal Health.
Crew Leader
Returned to the family business in a full-time capacity with expanded responsibilities, helping run one of the crews. Managed daily operations, scheduling, and customer relationships. Eventually stepped away to pursue my own path independently.
Yard Operations
First role at Menards after returning from Omaha. Learned forklift operation, inventory management, and the fundamentals of warehouse operations in a high-volume retail environment.
Cook
Worked the kitchen in a fast-paced restaurant environment after moving back to Indiana. Stayed until overtime hours were cut, then sought a role with more growth potential.
Property Management Associate
At 19, packed my Jeep and moved to Omaha to work for a property management startup I'd connected with during college. Started by listing properties remotely my freshman year, then joined full-time. As the only employee outside the two co-founders, gained hands-on experience across every aspect of managing a portfolio worth over $10M — tenant relations, property maintenance, leasing, operations. Company dissolved when the partners parted ways.
Freshman Year · Dropped Out
Enrolled in college but quickly realized the traditional path wasn't for me. Used my student status to network with business owners — meeting them for lunches, connecting on LinkedIn, cold-emailing entrepreneurs. Attended the CEO Conference in Chicago, flew to Omaha to see Delta REP's operation, and traveled to a conference in Florida — all before the end of freshman year.
Cart Boy → Pizza Maker → Lawn Care
Started working at 16 as a cart boy at WoodWind Golf Course in Westfield, IN — washing carts, picking range balls, assisting guests. Moved to Jan's Village Pizza in my hometown of Sheridan during junior and senior year. Summers were spent working for the family lawn care business.
Lean Six Sigma
Currently pursuing Black Belt certification. Applied across Cardinal Health and GXO to drive continuous process improvement, reduce waste, and optimize operations systematically. Methodology has been instrumental in delivering measurable, sustained results.
